Fishing Charters

On our fishing charters we target many species. Some of the types of fish that are caught are spot tail bass, spotted sea trout, flounder, sheepshead, black drum, sharks, Spanish mackerel and lady fish and multiple other species. Captain Jerry provides all fishing tackle, bait, fishing licenses and ice. All you will need to bring is your own food & beverages, towel, hat, rain gear (if needed), non-marking footwear, sun protection*, and a great attitude, ready to have some fun fishing!

Harbor Cruises

For those of you not interested in catching fish. Harbor Cruises are a great option to get you out on the water of Charleston, SC. You will cruise around the Charleston Harbor listening to your favorite tunes while you enjoy the beautiful views of the Battery of Downtown Charleston, waterfront park and the USS Yorktown. Bring your favorite beverages and snacks, oh, and a camera as you do not want to miss the beautiful beaches, sites and local bird and marine life.

Sunset Cruises

Sunset cruises depart from Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, SC 2 hours before sunset and the boat cruise is 2 hours long. You will cruise around the Charleston Harbor listening to your favorite tunes while you enjoy the beautiful views of the Battery of Downtown Charleston, waterfront park and the USS Yorktown. Bring your favorite beverages and snacks, oh, and a camera as you do not want to miss the beautiful sunset and nature Charleston has to offer.

How do we book a charter?

We require a 48-hour cancellation policy. We understand that things come up but any cancellations less than 48 hours will lose the $100 deposit.

What is your cancellation policy?

If the Captain determines that it is unsafe or will be unpleasant to run your charter, we will be happy to reschedule or refund your trip.

What if there is bad weather? 

All you will need to bring is your own food & beverages (please, no glass), towel, hat, sunglasses, rain gear (if needed), non-marking footwear, sun protection and a camera. The Captain supplies fishing tackle, fishing licenses, bait and ice. If you prefer to bring your own fishing equipment, feel free to do so.

What do i need to bring on the boat?

Your charter will depart from historic Shem Creek, behind Water’s Edge Restaurant in Mount Pleasant, SC. 

What location does the charter depart from? 

The Captain participates in a catch and release program, but if you would like to keep a few fish for lunch or dinner, the Captain will clean your catch for you to take home or have the Water’s Edge cook your catch for you.

Do I get to keep my catch?
